Troubleshooting
Quick fixes for the most common problems.
/seo-ops or /portal shows a 404
Go to Settings › Permalinks in WordPress and click Save Changes. This refreshes WordPress’s address rules so the app and portal addresses work.
A notice about PHP
SEO Ops needs PHP 8.1 or newer. If you see a notice that your PHP version is too old, ask your host to switch the site to PHP 8.1 or later.
The app is blank
The app needs JavaScript. Check it is enabled, and try the full-screen version at /seo-ops. If a caching or security plugin is in use, clear its cache.
A source shows Not connected or unavailable
That is expected until you connect it. See Configuring integrations.
AI actions are missing or fail
Check that an AI provider, API key and model are set under Settings › Integrations, and that the key is valid and has credit.
A client cannot see something
Check it is shared with them: comments must be marked Client-visible, reports must be approved, and the client user must be linked to the right organisation.
