Task views and filters
See tasks as a list, a board or a calendar, narrow them with filters, save the views you use, and change many tasks at once.
Three ways to see the same tasks
Open Tasks in the SEO Ops menu. The tabs at the top switch between views of the same underlying tasks, so nothing is duplicated.
- List. A sortable table, sorted by due date by default. Best for scanning a lot of work and for bulk changes.
- Kanban. A board with a column for each status (Backlog, Planned, In Progress and so on). Each card has a status control, so you can move work along without opening it. Moving a card to Completed checks its dependencies first, and cancelled tasks are hidden until you choose Show cancelled.
- Calendar. Tasks laid out by deadline, so you can see a busy week before it arrives.
- My tasks. Only the tasks assigned to you. It is a shortcut to the list filtered to you.
Prefer to start from a client? Every client page has its own Tasks tab with the same views, already limited to that client.
Filter the list
The search box finds tasks by title, URL or keyword. The filter buttons narrow the list by:
- Client and assignee
- Status and priority
- Due date
- Campaign, strategy and workstream
- Tag
- Technical (tasks flagged as technical work)
Filters stay in the address, so you can share a filtered view with a colleague by sending them the link.
Save a view you use often
- Set the filters and sort order you want.
- Choose Save view, give it a name, and save.
- Your saved views appear as buttons under the filters, labelled Saved views. Select one to apply it again.
Typical saved views: “Waiting on client”, “Technical, this week” or “Critical and high, all clients”.
Change many tasks at once
Tick the boxes beside several tasks in the list. A toolbar appears with Assign, Status, Priority, Due date, Move to campaign and Add tag. Choose one, set the value and apply it to every selected task. Clear selection unticks everything.
It is the quickest way to push a batch of tasks back a week or hand a client’s work to a new person.
Statuses and priorities
| Statuses | Priorities |
|---|---|
| Backlog, Planned, In Progress, Waiting, Client Review, Approved, Completed, Cancelled | Critical, High, Medium, Low |
Tasks that need client sign-off use Client Review; see Approvals.

Common questions
Do the views show the same data?
Yes. List, board and calendar are three views of the same tasks. Change a status on the board and the list shows it straight away.
Can a client see my task list?
No. Tasks are internal until you share them. The portal shows only tasks you have marked as client-visible. See Setting up the client portal.
